솔로몬이 가로되 ‘주의 종 내 아비 다윗이 성실과 공의와 정직한 마음으로 주와 함께 주의 앞에서 행하므로 주께서 저에게 큰 은혜를 베푸셨고 주께서 또 저를 위하여 이 큰 은혜를 예비하시고 오늘날과 같이 저의 위에 앉을 아들을 저에게 주셨나이다

  • Bold, larger (ˈ) = say it strong and a little longer — the stressed syllable.
  • Faint = weak and short (a reduced vowel). Don't give every syllable equal weight.
  • Tiny 으 · 트 · 스 = barely voiced. English has no vowel there — stop on the consonant.
  • Whole word faint (the, of, and, to…) = light and quick in a sentence; stress the content words.
  • Small f v θ ð r = sounds Korean doesn't have — f: upper teeth on the lower lip; v: the same, voiced; θ/ð: tongue tip between the teeth; r: tongue curled back, touching nothing.
