How to read the Hangul

  • Bold, larger (ˈ) = say it strong and a little longer — the stressed syllable.
  • Faint = weak and short (a reduced vowel). Don't give every syllable equal weight.
  • Tiny 으 · 트 · 스 = barely voiced. English has no vowel there — stop on the consonant.
  • Whole word faint (the, of, and, to…) = light and quick in a sentence; stress the content words.
  • Small f v θ ð r = sounds Korean doesn't have — f: upper teeth on the lower lip; v: the same, voiced; θ/ð: tongue tip between the teeth; r: tongue curled back, touching nothing.

    (25:1) Псалом Давида. Рассуди меня, Господи, ибо я ходил в непорочности моей, и, уповая на Господа, не поколеблюсь.

    De David. Rends-moi justice, Éternel! car je marche dans l'intégrité, Je me confie en l'Éternel, je ne chancelle pas.

    (25:2) Искуси меня, Господи, и испытай меня; расплавь внутренности мои и сердце мое,

    Sonde-moi, Éternel! éprouve-moi, Fais passer au creuset mes reins et mon coeur;

    (25:3) ибо милость Твоя пред моими очами, и я ходил в истине Твоей,

    Car ta grâce est devant mes yeux, Et je marche dans ta vérité.

    (25:4) не сидел я с людьми лживыми, и с коварными не пойду;

    Je ne m'assieds pas avec les hommes faux, Je ne vais pas avec les gens dissimulés;

    (25:5) возненавидел я сборище злонамеренных, и с нечестивыми не сяду;

    Je hais l'assemblée de ceux qui font le mal, Je ne m'assieds pas avec les méchants.

    (25:6) буду омывать в невинности руки мои и обходить жертвенник Твой, Господи,

    Je lave mes mains dans l'innocence, Et je vais autour de ton autel, ô Éternel!

    (25:7) чтобы возвещать гласом хвалы и поведать все чудеса Твои.

    Pour éclater en actions de grâces, Et raconter toutes tes merveilles.

    (25:8) Господи! возлюбил я обитель дома Твоего и место жилища славыТвоей.

    Éternel! j'aime le séjour de ta maison, Le lieu où ta gloire habite.

    (25:9) Не погуби души моей с грешниками и жизни моей с кровожадными,

    N'enlève pas mon âme avec les pécheurs, Ma vie avec les hommes de sang,

  10. 10

    (25:10) у которых в руках злодейство, и которых правая рука полна мздоимства.

    Dont les mains sont criminelles Et la droite pleine de présents!

    (25:11) А я хожу в моей непорочности; избавь меня, и помилуй меня.

    Moi, je marche dans l'intégrité; Délivre-moi et aie pitié de moi!

    (25:12) Моя нога стоит на прямом пути; в собраниях благословлю Господа.

    Mon pied est ferme dans la droiture: Je bénirai l'Éternel dans les assemblées.
